The Way of Love - a Walk to the Cross

The Way of Love was a Way of the Cross come to life, expresses elements of

heaven and the Mass while portraying Christ's passion and resurrection. This play was first performed in May, 2024, with a Cast of 65 and Crew of 35. We were again blessed to have 700+ audience members.

Three Hearts as One - a living Stations of the Cross Lenten Experience

As we journey to the Cross through Lent we take time to meditate on the sufferings Christ endured for our salvation. Through the eyes of His Holy Mother and His blessed, most-pure Father, we grow in understanding the true cost of our freedom through Christ on the Cross. "Three Hearts as One" reveals to us the never-ending love uniting the world's most holy family at the world's darkest moment. Their love reflects the love of the Holy Trinity itself. We had 3 performances throughout Lent 2025. Featuring 30 actors and beautiful, live music and voice over prayers throughout, "Three Hearts as One" may soon come to a St Boniface Archdiocesan parish near you.

Our Lady's Legacy Weekend Event 2025

Our Lady's Legacy Weekend Event 2025 was Grotto Theater Ministries' first full weekend event, occurring on the feast weekend of Our Lady of Sorrows in September 2025. Our event featured two returning performances of "Our Lady's Legacy", a living meditation on the Chaplet of Our Lady of Sorrows, two incredible talks on Our Lady by the renowned author and speaker, Tim Staples from Catholic Answers of San Diego, California, and not one but two Sunday masses: a beautiful Novus Ordo mass and a High Latin Mass. This Latin Mass was the first public Latin Mass to be said at the grotto in many years. We were blessed with the attendance of several hundred pilgrims for this special weekend event, and were able to share the new washrooms and new food concession building with the public. This beautiful weekend, which came together by the help of many gracious volunteers, was an historic success, especially during the Jubilee Year of 2025, for which The St Malo Grotto and Shrine was an official pilgrimage site in the Jubilee Year of Mercy.
